TRAINING PROGRAM OUTLINE

The Advanced Cattle Ultrasound Pregnancy Testing Training Program is designed for experienced technicians and veterinarians to further develop livestock ultrasound skills.

The course focuses on advanced reproductive scanning techniques through an intensive online self paced program. Learn the intricacies of -

  • ovarian scanning - evaluation and assessment

  • foetal ageing

  • foetal sexing 

  • identifying abnormalities

  • efficiency and workflow refinement

  • advanced field application techniques


Pre-requisite:  AHCLSK339 – Pregnancy Test Livestock or

equivalent competency recognised through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Before enrolling, please ensure you read and understand the information below.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Pre-requisite of AHCLSK339 Pregnancy Test Livestock or RPL
  • Students must be 18 years+
  • All other learning resources are supplied.
  • Students should have an interest in livestock and reproduction management
  • Student should be comfortable with online learning and self-directed study
  • Basic literacy is required
  • Basic computer skills and ability to connect to online sessions 
  • Students require a computer with internet access for the online learning parts of the units.

DURATION

This program is delivered through an online training model.

Participants complete self-paced online theory modules including quizzes to test understanding. 

This can take from 5-7 hours to complete.

  • Stud & Seedstock Reproductive Specialist Work with stud operations to deliver detailed reproductive insights, including foetal sexing and genetic planning support.

STUDENT SUPPORT, RPL AND CREDIT TRANSFER

  • Students may apply for: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – For relevant skills and knowledge gained through work or life experience for the pre-requisite unit AHCLSK339 – Pregnancy Test Livestock

  • Please indicate you wish to apply for RPL on the Enrolment Form and an RPL Application Form will be provided and upon completion, will be assessed in accordance with Catagra Group Training Policies and Procedures.

  • Credit Transfer does not apply for this Training Program as it a non-accredited training program

COST, REFUND & CANCELLATION

  • Total Training Program fee is $1,500

  • An invoice of $1,500 will be issued upon acceptance of enrolment and must be paid prior to commencement of training and access to learning content.
  • Catagra Group Training Pty Ltd does not require any payment prior to acceptance into the training product.
