At Catagra Group Training, our aim is to deliver industry-relevant, hands-on training for Primary Producers, Feedlots, Veterinarians, and Veterinary Technicians across Australia. We provide nationally recognised units of competency that equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge to determine early pregnancy status in livestock, improve reproductive management practices, and enhance herd performance and productivity for more efficient and profitable livestock operations.

Pregnancy Testing
AHCLSK339 – Pregnancy Test Livestock (Cattle)
This nationally recognised training program equips participants with the skills to safely and effectively pregnancy test cattle using ultrasound technology. Delivered in a controlled, low-risk environment, it focuses on animal welfare, operator safety, reproductive knowledge, accurate data recording, and industry best practice through supervised practical training.

Cattle Artificial Insemination & Fertility Management
This training program delivers a nationally recognised units of competency from the AHC Training Package - which includes AHCAIS304 and AHCLSK341. This hands-on training program builds practical AI and fertility skills for the cattle and dairy industries, with a Statement of Attainment issued on completion. Delivered through blended learning with 2 weeks of self paced online learning and face to face practical training.
Cattle Reproduction Management
This training program comprises seven units of competency, each designed to reflect the realities of reproductive management in your own workplace setting. Delivered entirely online with fortnightly live webinars supports flexibility in learning.
Content is structured ensuring skills and knowledge are practical and relevant. Throughout the training program, students will plan and implement real-world strategies across a broad range of essential topics, including animal health and welfare, nutrition, breeding, data analysis, agricultural technologies, and budgeting, building the expertise needed to drive meaningful improvements in reproductive outcomes within their own operations.
Advanced Cattle Ultrasound Pregnancy Testing
The Advanced Pregnancy Testing Training Program is designed for experienced technicians and veterinarians to further develop livestock ultrasound skills. Delivered as an intensive online self-paced training program, it covers advanced reproductive scanning including ovarian assessment, ageing, sexing, and identifying abnormalities in cattle. Pre-requisite: AHCLSK339 or qualified veterinarian.
Sheep Pregnancy Scanning
Sheep Pregnancy Scanning
This training program provides students with the skills and knowledge to successfully diagnose pregnancies in sheep. Delivered through blended learning with 2 weeks of self paced online learning and 2 days of face to face practical training, with a Cerificate of Completion issued on completion.
